ALSAGER EQUESTRIAN CENTRE (AEC),

Sandbach road, Lawton Heath End, Alsager

Exit from M6, via J16.  Take A500 towards Stoke.  Turn left onto A34.  At Talke continue straight on onto A5011.  Go straight across Alsager traffic lights, then bear left, after garage, into Sandbach Lane.  Pass pub on R, bear right at multiple cross roads and the road becomes B5078, AEC is shortly on your left.

ALSAGER GOLF and COUNTRY CLUB

Go to the centre of Alsager (traffic lights) and take the turn opposite to the one for Sue Barrett's, ie: Sandbach Road South which becomes the Audley Road.  Follow this over the station, through houses with cars parked on the left. As the road widens, you will see a three storey house facing you on your left and The Best Western Manor House Hotel on your right.  As you register these buildings, look just beyond the tall house on the left and you will see a sign saying Alsager Golf and Country Club, at which point you fork left and go up into the car park.

This Audley Road is the direct link from the A500. Take the Alsager/Audley turn from the A500 and go towards Alsager.  Follow this road, it is windy and twisty, come into a 40mph zone, round a sharp right bend, and the hotel is on the left and the Golf Club on the right.  The hotel is mentioned, because the signs for that are bigger and therefore easier to spot.

Friarswood can be found from the A34,turn by the Warner cinema onto the A53, accross the traffic lights, climb the bank for 50yds and its on the right. Alternatively come down the M6 to J15 turn left onto the Clayton Rd,approx 2miles(2roundabouts,1 traffic lights) turn left at the bottom of the bank onto Friarswood Rd, left at the traffic lights(100yds)climb bank for 50 yds and its on the right.Plenty of parking in front of the clinic.

HOUGH VILLAGE HALL,

Cross Lane, Hough Common, Nr. Shavington.

Exit M6, via J16.  Take A500 towards Nantwich.  At first roundabout take first exit towards Weston,  At next roundabout take 2nd exit towards Hough and Nantwich.  Go over railway bridge, then first left into Cross Lane.  Hough Village Hall is approx. …. On your left.

LLANYMYNECH

Lower House Farm, Llanymynech, Nr. Oswestry, Shropshire, SY22 6LG.

From Leek, head from M6 J15 roundabout near Stoke/Newcastle for Market Drayton and Whitchurch on A5182 which then meets the A53  at a "T" junction where they turn left (should  be signposted, Market Drayton, Shrewsbury and probably Whitchurch.   Do not go into Market Drayton, take by pass to roundabout junction with A41 at Ternhill by a filling station.   There are now two ways to get to Llanymynech, the firt is quicker but takes you through a  short section of narrow country lanes, the 2nd is slower with windy A roads:-

a)   Continue on A53 through Shawbury until Battlefield Roundabout.  Take A5124 2nd exit to north of Shrewsbury.  Go across first roundabout, at next round about take 2nd exit to Baschurch which is a country road.  Continue past 2 exits to the left and you will be alongside the railway.  Take next left to Baschurch.  At T junction with B5067 take right to Baschurch, at next roundabout take right and go past Prescott College.  Go through Baschurch and at Newton take left on B4397 to Owsestry, through Ruyton XI-Towns to A5.  Go straight across to Knockin.  Take signs to Maesbrook on B4398,  Turn left as you leave Measbrook and then the competition ground is on your left.

b)  Take third exit onto A41 for Whitchurch.   When they meet Whitchurch by pass turn left and follow signs for Oswestry Wrexham until roundabout by a big filling station where they take first exit onto A495 for Oswestry (also signed A525 Wrexham)).   Major roadworks in that area.  Shortly after roadworks end there is a left handed turn off to Oswestry A495 at Redbrook.    Continue on A495 through Welshampton, Ellesmere, Welsh Frankton and Whittington until you meet the A5 Oswestry by pass.  Turn south and follow signs for A5 Shrewsbury  and A483 for  about 1.5miles then take A483 (do not go on A5 towards Shrewsbury at this point).   Llanymynchech is about six miles from the roundabout junction where the A5 and A483 split.   Venue will have a small sign "Area 20" on left hand side of road on a lamp post in middle of village at a little cross roads.   Entrance to venue is on right hand side of lane just out of the village.

Other competitors from Sandbach, Betley and Market Drayton need to make their way to Whitchurch by pass then follow the same directions as in option b).

LLOYD FARM STUD,

Hales, Market Drayton, Shropshire, TF9 2PS.

J15 OFF M6, 3rd exit A519 up hill to traffic lights.  Turn right onto A5182.  At T junction turn left on to A53.  Continue across A51 to Loggerheads.  About half way between Loggerheads and Market Drayton the road dips and there is a cross road.  Turn left for Hales.  Keep Hales church on your left, past Hales Sawmills, down hill, sharp left – Lloyds Farm is on the left, go to furthest gates.

PEAR TREE FARM

Audley Road, Balterley, Crewe, CW2 5QE.

J16 OFF M6, 1st exit to A500 Nantwich, Crewe.  At A531 Weston-Betley roundabout – take Betley exit.  2nd exit at next roundabout (Wychwood Park).  Take next left onto B550 Balterley-Audley road (by Broughton Arms Pub).  Take 2nd turning on left for Pear Tree.  Click here for Google Maps

SMALLWOOD LIVERY CENTRE

Brookhouse Farm, Brookhouse Green, Smallwood, Sandbach, Cheshire, CW11 2XE

Smallwood Livery Centre is situated on Brookhouse Lane, 1 mile off the A534 approximately 4 miles from Sandbach and 3 miles from Congleton. The A534 can be accessed at junction 17 on the M6 and head east towards Congleton, crossing the traffic lights at the A50 then taking the first right onto Brookhouse Lane. From Congleton direction, Brookhouse Lane is the 4th left turning, once you have left Congleton, approximately 2 miles.

SOMERFORD PARK FARM,

Holmes Chapel Road, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 4SW.

Grid reference SJ809648.  Somerford Park is on the A54, approx. halfway between Holmes Chapel and Congleton (on the left if travelling from Holmes Chapel).  Easy access from the M6 via junction 18.

SOUTHVIEW

Winsford Road, Wettenhall, Cheshire.

Off the A51 from Nantwich turn right at Alpraham onto Long Lane signposted to Wettenhall. After 2.5 miles bear right onto Winsford Road. Southview is a little further down on your right.

Alternatively on the A51 from Nantwich by Rease Heath, turn right into Winsford Road.  Go past a churst on your lef, over a canal and railway bridge, through cholmondeston, ignore Calveley Green lane on your left and Southwive is a little further down on your left.
