Please note
For all dressage competitions from now on- both Prelim classes will be Open AND Restricted -i.e.Class 1:-P 12 res,Class 2:-P12 open, Class 3:-P14 res, Class 4:-P14 open.
Times will be mixed and classes 1 and 2 will run concurrently and similarly classes 3 and 4. If you have any special requests e.g. long journey or multiple entries please state CLEARLY on your entry form and we will try to accomodate you.
Prelim dressage - there have been 2 rules changes to these classes with immediate effect
Resricted Prelim - A rider only has to move out of the restricted class if they have won the class 3 times or more in a calendar year, and there have been 6 or more entries in each of the classes they have won.
Open Prelim - This is now open to any rider with a horse that has no more than 30 BD points. ( any rider can compete HC if the horse has more than 30 BD points)

DRESSAGE POINTS SYSTEM
If there are 6 or more in the class, 1st place will be awarded 6 points, 2nd place 5 points and so on... 6th place will receive 1 point.
However if there are only 4 in the class, the winner will receive 4 points, 3 in the class and the winner will receive 3 points with 2nd place 2 points and 3rd place 1 point etc...
Also, riders who have been moved to the Open Prelim class, may convert back to restricted if, at the end of the year, having competed in no less than 3 dresssage competitions with SCRC, they have not gained any points.
SHOWJUMPING POINTS SYSTEM
As of November 2011, there will still be 5 classes in the SJ competition but we will start with a 2ft class and the Super Open (3ft plus) class will no longer take place
1st place - 6 points
2nd place - 5 points
3rd place - 4 points
4th place - 3 points
5th place - 2 points
6th place - 1 point
Points will be awarded to the rider in that place, regardless of whether they are a member or non-member. However to be eligable for the points trophy, you must be a member of the SCRC.
